Wild Wild West Point Grey

I popped over to get gas this morning and as I walked into the building today I noticed that a huge graffiti tag was on the front window, no doubt a remnant of the previous-night's precarious Halloween activities by the wild Point Grey youth. The following conversation ensuded with the neighbourhood Gas Clerk Ali (who, as far as I can tell, works at the gas station 24 hours a day):
Me: "HEY! It looks like you got graffitied!"
Ali: "I know! What?" (his English=not great)
Me: "You got tagged man!"
Ali: "Oh yeah. I know. They pain the window"

Hahaha… CGI is fun…

P.S., i don't want anyone to get to unnerved, if you want to be sure this is fake, just stare at anything but the baby when you watch it (like the TV), you'll be able to see that the movements of the baby and the shape of the baby are impossible (short of twisting off his arm or something)
Where Do You Land on the Voter Demographic Map?
Jonathan Darmin writes this fairly interesting article on class politics and the possible future of Sarah Palin if Obama wins the presidency:
The GOP's Palin Problem | Newsweek Politics: Campaign 2008 | Newsweek.com
I that I often don't know which voter class I fall into when I read articles like these. Hispanic Minority? Danish Minority? Religious? Liberal? Liberal-Religious-Moral-Conservative? Or simply "white middle class"?
So confusing. Anyway, somebody get me a Palin button now.

Politics?
This is pretty much where I'm at with the Obama vs. McCain issue at this point. It'll make more sense if you were ever into STNG.
Props to Sarah Palin for the SNL Appearance. She might not make it into the white house, but after Alaska she's going to have her run of any company in the country I imagine.

Politics are Fun.
We have a new President. That is awesome.
The week of November 3, 2008 is turning out to be a pretty darn good week, all things considered.
