DJ Dan

As I sit in my room, the sound of feet pounding down on the floor which is the cieling above my head to the beat of MC Hammer's Can't Touch This is music to my ears.

It's also a little unnerving as I have no guarantee that the floor isn't going to cave in over my head. Nevertheless it's a joy to be DJ-ing yet another dance party and this time one hosted at my house.

I'm usually a morning person but not so much when I'm functioning on minimal sleep. The last few days/weeks have been a vacuum of sleep for various reasons and have also drained a good portion the emotional fuel-supply as some of my closest friends are leaving the country and other stuff.

I'll spare you the details but sufficed to say I'm not a morning person right now. In fact right now I'm that guy who wears a dark black Ralph Lauren winter tuque over most of his head and avoids making eye contact with any passerbys mostly because he's not 100% sure that his eyes are open; or that he's even awake.

NKOTB! YAH! YAH! HANGIN TOUGH!

So Tonight the New Kids on the Block are coming HERE to Vancouver.

How exciting is that?!

I know it seems a little weird for a guy to be excited about that, but I've always really enjoyed the New Kids music, seeing as how I first encountered them when I was a 13 year old boy who liked to sing and liked girls, their songs were a pretty good fit.

And as Annie mentioned recently on her blog, NKOTB is back in full-swing, touring the country(ies) and sounding as awesome as ever!

AND I'M SO EXCITED THAT I'M GOING!

It’s Time.

The Existent Appeal of the Notional Bluetooth (or vice-versa)

Existent: "actual: presently existing in fact and not merely potential or possible;"
Notional: "Existing only as a concept."

Everybody loves Bluetooth; even if they pretend they don't. I know that because I used to pretend I didn't love Bluetooth. I would look at people using Bluetooth and have "anti-bluetooth" thoughts about them. I even got in a fight with my own Mom because she's had one for about a year now, she thinks it's really cool, and likes to wear it in her ear more often than she needs to. For instance, one time she put it on her ear when we got in the car and she was the passenger. The following conversation ensued:
