White People like NPR. Check.

Just a short post to encourage you to check out this new episode of This American LIfe about the mysterious disappearance and reappearance of Bobby Dunbar. One of the most interesting stories I've heard in a really long time. One of the quotes, from one of the many interesting people, "...she was ugly as homemade sin".
Classic.

All's Quiet on the Northwestern Front
This is one of those weeks where all in my world seems to be filled with peace and free of trouble. Maybe I'm just feeling sentimental, maybe I'm on drugs. I'm not sure.
Top of the good news is that Jane and Dane are finally home with Ben and officially "out of the woods." Now I can go meet Ben and get my picture taken with him, and the baby montage will be complete and ready for posting.
Friday is a Good time to Stop and Ponder… …and die of exhaustion.
My insightful friend dan over at poserorprophet (for the record dan, I'm leaning more toward "prophet" than "poser" these days, but there is definitely still a healthy amount of both) is asking everyone, "If You could ask God one question, what would it be". He also makes a real good point about the potential significance of his answer, if you're intersted. I answered that I want to know what happens to Musilims and Jews, since they are spiritual descendants of the same theocratic universise as Christians, but Christians usually proclaim that they have either lost favor (jews) or never had favor (islam) from God, at least in terms of individual people groups. I'm curious how God would explain their fate and what his reasoning for it would be.
