Monday Morning Update

Not much to write about. That's a total lie. There's so much going on that I can't begin to jot about it now. Hopefully the result will be good news in a little while if not at least a little discussion fodder.
In the meantime, It's crunch time at school, so don't expect much in the next three weeks. Afterward though, I should be in fantastic spirits. And hopefully sleeping more so that the twitter feed doesn't end up looking like scientology meeting notes.
One thing that really interested me, "this post by >Brody . Read it. As always he makes fantastic speculative points in nothing less than eloquent prose. I might like to respond to that one, as I don't think I entirely agree.
Me Queda Muerte
Well, as per usual in "the most temperate climate in north america", it is snowing at the end of March. Not that I'm complaining, I love snow. This is probably kind of like April fools snow, it will look all beautiful from my office window and the second I leave to head home it will turn into freezing, icy, zero-degree rain.
But that's ok.

That's not really important though. What is really important however is the argument myself and a co-worker are currently having over who is more talented. Vanessa Carlton or Michelle Branch. I say carlton, more music savvy and a unique sound, SHE says branch. What do you say?
hooray.
So yesterday was my birthday which is never something I really look forward to with great anticipation. People have often told me that I can't handle being the center of attention. They're wrong though, It's not that I don't like to be the center of attention, I just don't understand why it can't be every day and not just one paltry day. Just kidding, it's probably actually the former, or something to do with the lack of having control (although Wendy affirmed that the latter was true, ouch! I should keep my mouth shut). In retrospect, I should have enjoyed birthdays more growing up. I had a best friend of exactly the same age, who was born two days before me. We could have had some mad parties, but for some reason we didn't.
How to win @ Monopoly…
I've been meaning to post this for a while. It's an article on Jeff Reimer's blog that teaches you how to win at Monopoly. My Monopoly experience was always mixed at best, ranging somewhere from cheating well and winning, to pissing my sister off until she started throwing houses and money at me, to losing pitifully and feeling like a failure in every aspect of life.
