Ko-Bye!

ESPN.com: Page 2 : Bill Simmons Blog

Well it finally happened, Kobe demanded a trade. It's almost a little suspicious when you figure that this was the main news story leading up to it actually happening.

But Me and Jeff think it's a good thing although we might not completely agree on the merits of the situation. Jeff hates Kobe and just wants to see him leave, I'm a Kobe fan and I want to see him in a uniform with a color that's not yellow and purple.

Best Beatboxer in the World

I'm in love with beatboxing right now and trying to learn. So I really like videos like this. This is my second choice, because the last one had too much swearing. This guy is hard to watch but fun to listen too. I think it's french American Idol.

WillObama

This is on the heels of an inquisitive post over on Jeff's Blog. If you've never looked at his blog, take a peek, he actually get's the relevant stories up faster than most news sites. That's where I found out that Anna-Nicole died and learned that Al Franken is running for senate.

Yes, I know that you already know this

Although I don't think this picture really suggests to anybody that Will Smith and Barack Obama are siblings, the photo interested me in the possiblity of comparing the two as to which would be the better candidate for president.

Girl Got Pipes

I know that somewhere in my brain is some promise to never comment on American Idol again, because I was so mad about… ...something.

But I can't remember what it is, so here's my final take on my re-introduction to the world's most controversial singing competition.

The finale was pretty good. I was happy that Jordin made it in. Even though I pegged Blake as the finalist weeks ago (i'm not going to provide the link), last night it was obviously Jordin times 100.

Coconut

I love Google Images

Today I had to go to a tailor to drop off a Suit I need altered. Going to a tailor was one of those things that I always looked forward to when I was a kid. I loved the idea of wearing a suit every day, having a personal tailor and having things altered. Dropping off the dry-cleaning every week. You know, city stuff.

Being a suburb boy and then whatever Chico is (i guess a university town / farming community?) it just really seemed like it would be cool. I often pictured myself walking to work every day in a number of nice suits.
