Watch This. Seriously.
This came in by email from a friend. It took me a couple weeks to watch it, but boy I'm glad I did.
Seriously. You need to watch this. Don't be skeptical of youtube, don't think you can't waste time. This isn't a waste of time. It's just awesome. Turn the volume up loud. Way up.
Gotta love the cheers.

More Sunday Preaching and a Shredder
Sunday
This morning I had the opportunity for the 2nd week in a row to visit a local Mennonite congregation and act as their guest preacher for the Sunday. I preached for 2 weeks on John 17:20-26 on the topic of Jesus desire for us in the prayer to God about us at the end of John 17. The second sermon was a practical take on the idea of seeing God's glory in Jesus and in us and was actually mostly based around Hebrews 10:19-25. I felt like the sermons were good not great, the first was better than the 2nd (although the 2nd got more laughs). But the community was very gracious. They had a nice discussion time immediately after the sermon, and as is always the case when dealing with the Lord's word, they expressed in both cases how the topics hit very near to their hearts. That was cool since I knew very little about them going in.
I Salute You
This one goes out to the 18 or so small Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese girls who were boldly singing Jesus songs (specifically, The Heart of Worship) at the main entrance to Sauder Business School this afternoon. And the one Guy, he looks to be like a pretty popular guy is my guess.
I thought this crew was a Christmas Caroling crew when I first passed them, then I realized that they were singing about Jesus. They looked pretty awkward and nervous, especially the guy, but they were diligent.
So I salute you fine girls and one boy. Good Job. – dan
First Impressions: Mutemath

Every time I hang out with Dave Lim (which now is only once a year during Christmas), He gets a hold of my ipod and I end up with all kinds of cool new music. I know you might think this isn't legal, but actually it is. I'm one of the proud 5 authorized computers on Dave's itunes account, which means its all legit. At least until I get bumped, and then I won't be able to play a serious amount of Hillsongs United and Fiona Apple. Would be bad news.
Hocky Hockey is really irritating me right now
I'm really irritated with Hockey
I know this isn't the most popular thing to write in Canada. But seriously, does hockey ever end up here? The reason I ask is that It's really impinging on my sports shows. It seems like last week, I was sitting here listening to the final details of the Stanley cup competition. The canucks were out, so I was hoping i'd get a few weeks of relief. All I wanted to hear about was football.
