Forever Hoff

Well.

It's snowing in Vancouver. Again. Everyone is going to panic about the busses and maybe school will be shut down again tomorrow.

But that's old news…

What's quite new and wonderful news, is the fact that I was sent the "Super Fun David Hasselhoff Fun Activity Book" today. Ok, it's not actually called that but pretty close. It is free of charge (although if you download it from my site, feel free to make a donation even though I had nothing to do with it save emailing it to a bunch of my friends and uploading it here). It's filled with lots of fun activities having to do with David H., including connect the dots, color in the lines, and crossword puzzles (super 'specially for YOU Jane).

Turbid

Here come the words, as promised…

The last couple of weeks have been pretty insane in Vancouver. In particular, I mean weather-wise. The word I'm using to describe all of this is "Turbid." Now; I'm not exactly sure what the word Turbid means, for some reason when I read it in a newspaper article last week it registered blank in my internal dictionary. So, as I usually do, I derived meaning from context. Given the immediate context of the word and the nefarious conditions in the city, I came up with the following definition:

Bring on the Turkey Jerky

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone,

The second one this year, I suppose. Although yesterday was no cup of tea. I mean it wasn't bad, but just compared to watching football and feasting on my Aunt Susie-led family's phenomenal thanksgiving feast, it was a little lower than a normal day. It started with work, part of which included me interviewing for my own job. Now if that's not the strangest thing you've heard today, then your life is definitely more interesting than mine. Well, let's be honest. Your life is more interesting than mine. But at least you're here reading my blog, so something has to be said for that (not you, mom).

Everybody has a Blog

I've been thinking lately on the blog phenomenon, and how so many people these days have blogs. I'm going to dedicate the next couple/few posts to that topic. Interesting questions come to mind, such as: Should I have a blog? Why should I have a blog? How do I get/make a blog? Should I expect people to read my blog? Should people read my blog? And so on. Anyway I hope this is a helpful topic of discussion, because I really think that blogging is becoming a significant aspect of interpersonal communication and media content / delivery. I think I'm going to start out with some list type entries, and then move on to the essay stuff. That will help get some content coming and give me time to read a little on the subject.
