seeing as how I was so greatly pleased to find out that I could now wear sandals to work, a dream come true, I thought in celebration I'd actually wear dress shoes today, just so as not to take anything for granted.

... But I'm wearing flip-flops (or as I like to call them "thongs") at work today. I got out of the pool this morning and just decided to be risky (or I forgot my other shoes). I'm quite certain that nobody has noticed yet.

This is really weird for me. In my world it's pretty unprofessional, and my feet are making me feel like I'm walking around central park naked. At the same time, If I could wear nothing but flip-flops (thongs) every day of the year I would (except for playing basketball). I've always dreamed about the day I would come to work in sandals, is this it???
