the Unexpressed Advantage

As Promised, Halloween pics. Andrew and the girls and I went to a proper A-list party on Halloween; invite only, on a naval base at Stanley Park.

It was a ridiculous party. Total meat market, girls making out on the dance floor and everything. Andrew and I spent the first hour and a half sitting at a table and talking at the futility of being a Christian guy and trying to talk to girls at this kind of party. "What's the point!" "Where's that conversation even going, anyway?" We pondered these questions and danced a little bit with the girls. Andrew is a crazy Dancer. And by crazy I mean dangerous.

So it turns out I have less time these days than ever before to do things like, blog. But I felt like if I didn't get an Alanis post up I'd forever regret it like i do missing out on posting about Bruce Springsteen, the greatest big band concert experience of my life…

Yesterday Ryan (who went to the concert with me) asked me when my Alanis Buzz wore off. We went to the concert on tuesday, He asked friday night, and I sat there trying to find an answer…

After a couple of seconds he said, "still hasn't worn off yet huh?"

I really just want the gray to go away.
