If you happen to be visiting this website because you saw my address on an email I sent you regarding housing (I'm moving at the end of the month). I'd just like to put your fears to rest by assuring you that I'm a nice, wholesome male.

Here are 8 things about me that you'll love.

I love cats with all my heart. It's too bad I'm allergic though, otherwise my place would be like the cat disco.

I believe wholeheartedly in net neutrality but I pay full price for all media, downloaded or otherwise.

I really have no problem with people like Marc Driscoll. He's fair-minded, a true Biblical scholar, and he's making our world a better place.

My favourite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle is Donatello

I like coffee. Any kind in any mug will do. I'm a real fan.

Probably, in my opinion, the best possible cell phone option in Vancouver would be a Blackberry on the Bell network

Computers scare me, so if you can help, that'd be great.

Go Canucks!

There! You see, nothing to worry about. References available on request.

People might have wondered why I stopped writing for the last year and a half. I think I Got too busy. I could never nail anything down. I dunno. Lost inspiration somehow. It's not back.

Anyway, I'm closing up shop. That's what the numbers are about. It's a countdown.

This is number 9. And it's got nothing of substance. I'll try to make the next 8 more significant.

About a week after I post # 1, I'm going to close up shop. Draynet.com will turn to a twitter feed and/or resume/professional site. It will be good. Good in the sense that maybe one day I'll pick a topic and write a blog that has a little more umph to it.

Umph. I like that word.

Anyway, Until number 8.

So here's number 10 – MovieBob. The line quoted at the start pretty much sold me completely. This guy is my new favourite movie critic and I'm feeling a strong agreement with him a big lot of the time. We both liked GI Joe and he says 2012 is good so I'm thinking I might just like that too…

Watch out, he swears a little bit, but for the most part he's pretty swell. Probably more of a "Guys" movie reviewer…

Fresh Air is a daily NPR interview show that you can listen to on the radio (for those who know how a radio works), on the internet, and via podcast. I get it every day on my ipod. Terry Gross, America's greatest interviewer, talks with a number of different actors, musicians, artists, and politicians (and all other types of interesting people). It's done in a way that is thoughtful, informative, and interesting – while somehow bringing out the mildly absurd. A good example is yesterday's special about animal health care, Michael Schaffer: America Is Going To The Dogs?

One of the best one's I've heard in a while is TR Reid giving a detailed explanation of the different types of health care in different nations. I think its something every American should hear to get a sense of how health care does and doesn't work in other parts of the world: T.R. Reid: Looking Overseas For 'Healing Of America' (or if you want you can just read his book). Terry Gross saves me the time of reading some books though. And that's probably why I love her.

Also, just cause it's really interesting: Mike Judge (creator of beavis and butthead), Finding A Comic 'Extract' In The Office
