YouTube – child abuse or baby gymnastics

Hahaha… CGI is fun…

YouTube – baby gymnastics

P.S., i don't want anyone to get to unnerved, if you want to be sure this is fake, just stare at anything but the baby when you watch it (like the TV), you'll be able to see that the movements of the baby and the shape of the baby are impossible (short of twisting off his arm or something)

I could barely watch that. This man is insane.

I mean, CGI or not, what if somebody tries this?

Interesting. This I think is kind of a measure to what degree one can suspend disbelief (i.e., you know it’s fake and thus the lack of connection to reality means the video doesn’t get to you; or you wonder if it’s real and that connection to reality makes you feel uncomfortable)...

I’m actually pretty good at separating from reality/fiction but it definitely felt a “little” weird to watch it. Probably not as much as a mom.

It’s absolutely fake, no question in my mind, you can see the baby turn into cgi-mode if you watch it closely.

Also, finally, I think our genetic desire to protect babies keeps us from ever actually trying things like this. Short of crazy people, nobody’s gonna try this at home.

Real or not, it is still a little disturbing to watch.

Though I have to admit – it looks fun, I wish there was someone tall enough to do that to me. Except for the very last part, that just looks painful.

Another way to be CERTAIN that it’s fake is to watch from 3:05 to about 3:10, notice at 3:08 how much changes at exactly the same time:
– the brightness of the video – the activity on the tv screen – the baby is put on the floor

this is all right at the moment that the baby would need to become “real” again to walk around.

yeah. I can’t even finish that video. The babies arms are too stretchy!

You’ve made me feel better about it, Dan. But it is still hard to watch!

I donno if it is CGI cause when he flips the baby up and hold on to its legs, the baby grabs his shirt and pulls it, i donno how u can pull that off with CGI

but still totally disturbing

“we’re sorry. This video is no longer available.” Guess I missed it!
