Well it’s finals week again. Boy did that come fast. I took one today, and on the way home I caught myself trying to unlock my house with the remote clicker for my car. Needless to say that didn’t work, but it was funny to me how long it took me to figure it out. I never thought of myself as a dumb blonde, but I sure can be spacey at times.

I hope you all are doing well. At times like this I don’t have much to report. Everyone is about as spacey as me. I made the mistake of describing Easter as “Jesus’ Birthday” (which on one theological level, I suppose is correct, but not in general conversation) which got me some odd looks. Then I said it again on purpose in front of another crowd and they seemed to enjoy it more. Yeah, spacey.

One thing I was thinking would be really funny. To start telling a story; get all excited about it with a good hook and get people interested you know. And then right in the middle, with no warning, just stop – staring off into space – and then mention something about the 12 second awkward silence rule when someone says something. Then just act as it never happened; at least for a couple of seconds. That would have to be hilarious eventually.

Oh well, if any of you try it out, let me know.

    Happy Birthday Jesus, – dan.
