• Still not Good

To make a long story short, for reasons unknown I was pretty much hell-bent on returning my camera today, the last day to return under Futureshop's uber-cool "return anything for any reason" policy. I was gonna do it, but then last night I changed my mind. I basically suffer from the worst kind of buyer's remorse, and I decided that I didn't have time to do any photography. But then for more reasons unknown I just up and changed my mind. I think the fact that some guy took this photo with the same camera that got I may have helped. But it's obviously going to be a long time before I land any great shots like that.

In the meantime it will be a fun distraction. Here are some more. I had to run down to the store to get a case, so I didn't make it to beach in time to get shots with any light left. In my defense it was past 9:30, so I'm pretty encouraged. Just getting my feet wet, like that duck.

The duck makes a strong argument to buy a zoom lens. Anyone have $500 I can borrow?

There's this much light at 9:50. Who can complain?

no tripod. No light. 3 seconds. Not good, but not a bad place to start.

This is my ride… Yes that's a pride sticker AND a "one less car" sticker. What can I say, I bought it from a tall hippie lesbian.

Is that a duck? Looks to be more of a shorebird.

any bike from a tall hippie lesbian is well worth the money. YES to one less car on the road.

I really like the pic of my beloved city. Good work. I’m glad you didn’t return the camera.
