Weekend Reading…
This morning my colleague S. Lee, who is like our own office digg machine, sent us this link to a video of an animation painted completely on public city walls If you're a fan of, well anything visual, then I think you'll be amazed. It's also really long so you can come back and watch the 2nd half later. You can watch it here after the jump.
The other day someone asked me what kind of books I like to read. Never a fun question, since I don't really like reading books. Not that I don't enjoy them, I just for some reason don't like the act of reading books. Anyway luckily this time I was somewhat prepared, as I had been spending time checking out the list of American classics, most of which I haven't read. They only take a few hours each, so I'm going to have a tentative goal of having this list read by about mid-october. So far, I've only read:
- All Quiet on the Western Front
- Call of the Wild
- Cry, the Beloved Country
- 1984
- Old man and the Sea
- The Scarlet Letter, and
- To Kill a Mockingbird
So that leaves a whole lot. Also, I'm going to substitute the Brothers Karamazov for Sherlock Holmes. I don't need to read Sherlock Holmes, I live Sherlock Holmes.
Finally, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that this is the coolest thing I've seen this week – at least internet related. I'm pretty sure that the scenes from 'minority report' will be reality soon.
Oh yeah, here's that other cool video.

Not yet. Just a small hiatus. I get so distracted…or uninspired…depends on the day.
