Friday is a Good time to Stop and Ponder… …and die of exhaustion.
My insightful friend dan over at poserorprophet (for the record dan, I'm leaning more toward "prophet" than "poser" these days, but there is definitely still a healthy amount of both) is asking everyone, "If You could ask God one question, what would it be". He also makes a real good point about the potential significance of his answer, if you're intersted. I answered that I want to know what happens to Musilims and Jews, since they are spiritual descendants of the same theocratic universise as Christians, but Christians usually proclaim that they have either lost favor (jews) or never had favor (islam) from God, at least in terms of individual people groups. I'm curious how God would explain their fate and what his reasoning for it would be.
That said, I thought I'd ask a question too. And since my blog is more theological and much deeper than Dan's, it has to be a different question; so:
If you could be only one superhero, with one major superpower, what superhero would you be? And would you use your powers for good or for evil?
I'll let you ponder that (little mini-powers like laser vision don't count). Have a nice weekend.

Hmmm, tricky question. If I had to pick just one superhero it would be hard not to pick the Silver Surfer because, of all the superheroes, he is the most invincible (that is to say, if all the heroes had a royal rumble, I think he’d be last man standing).
However, I’ve always thought the Surfer was kind of lame. I’ve always thought the the ability to omni-morph was the best superpower (precisely because, by being able to morph, you can achieve almost everybody else’s superpowers—i.e. want super-strength, morph into something super-strong; want to fly, morph into something that flies, and so on and so forth). So, at the end of the day, I’m afraid I’d probably choose to be Kevin Sydney (the Changeling/Morph).
For another interesting angle, by somebody who thinks telekinesis is the best power, see this post by Halden: http://inhabitatiodei.wordpress.com/2008/02/28/the-ontology-of-telekinesis/.
