Sabbath?

The President of my seminary today, in the opening chapel address to the students (which happened to be on the topic of Sabbath), first referenced the phenomenal story of Elijah on Mt. Carmel found in 1 Kings 18:16-40 and then spat out the following quote in summation,

"My God requires sabbath, but He never sleeps"

(this is in reference to the taunting by Elijah to the 450 prophets of Baal, whether their god was asleep)

I didn’t know you were at chapel…I thought Rod’s thoughts were excellent and quite convicting.

Where’d he get that? It would really help me out if his sermon had footnotes…
