Well it's holiday time, and I'm happily enjoying the holidays in Northern California for a couple of days now. Last night I drove up to Chico to see one of my best friends dave lim. Had dinner with his family and then went out to coffee. We did the same thing last year so I think this is becoming a tradition. Dave lives in Nashville and is a rock star or something so we don't get quality time very often.
So when we do we make the best of it. Here's us in a Public Display of Affection (PDA). Note how my glare is piercing daves eyes gleefully.
See how I subtely caress the inside of dave's elbow with my finger? It makes him giggle.
Do we bug you? We should. At least we had the decency to do it in Dave's home. Not like the 3 yes THREE couples we saw in starbucks that night during our coffee discussion. The first couple was positioned exactly like we saw them, until eventually they got bored and decided to sit next to each other (ack!) and cuddle.
Then right in the midst of making fun of them we looked up and saw ANOTHER older couple kissing like Jr. Highers and giggling. Yuck!
Dave swore to me that he would never sit side by side with his girlfriend in a coffee shop, make out with her in a coffee shop, or sit across from her holding hands while gazing into her eyes in a coffee shop. Lucky Girl.
Don't get me wrong folks. I'm all for smooching and cuddling. Just don't do in a freaking Starbucks! Ok? It makes everybody else feel awkward and then they want to make fun of you. And trust me, they are. Sure you don't care cause your love snuggler is sitting across from you looking all puppy eyed, but you should care because it's bothering me and dave, and we think your a ham. Plus it results in more pictures like the one above.
Say no to PDAs, for all of our sake. – Dan.
okay. thanks for finally posting something again. it’s nice to know you’re still alive. happy christmas, my mexican friend dan.
Welcome back to earth…I haven’t heard from you in a while and I was beginning to worry. Yeah, PDA is weird and Lucas and I never really been a big fan of it. Although I have to say the picture of you and your friend did make me pretty uncomfortable.
Have a Merry Christmas!
oh yeah … nice play on words with the blending of pda and asinine … i was impressed by that.
this is an amazing blog.
I actually liked the picture of the two of you!
