• So Sorry

I don't know what got into me with the David Hasslehoff thing. I'm truly sorry. Well, not that sorry, I still have the fun book. Apparently it wasn't as popular as the game. It's one of those weird things where nobody really understands why Hasslehoff is so popular, but he is. Maybe some people are just too confident. I son't know why I posted the video. It's just horrible, but somehow Boian got me hooked on the video thing.

Tonight friend Audrey is back in town for a couple of days. There's a get together in her honor and I'm supposed to bring wings. I could buy them frozen, but I have a couple of hours of time after work and class, so I figure I might try this recipe. It looks pretty simple, except for the frying part which is also a hassle. I love that the website has a disclaimer that deep frying your food removes all nutritional content. Maybe the raw foodists has something going for it after all (be afraid if you click that link).

Christmas is coming soon. It's all carols at church and a big tree on stage. Sigh. – dan

no need to apologize. watching that video makes you feel better about yourself because you can be secure in the fact that you didn’t do something nearly as lame as he did.

dude. don’t buy frozen wings. only the best for me.
also, i saw that david hasselhoff video a whlie ago. check out “get into my car” or some such title like that. that video has more of a “plot” but is equally as terrible. but the fish catching thing in this video? makes me think david has totally departed from reality.

First of all, I like to think I’ve become a Vancouver Wing expert over the last several months. So don’t buy frozen wings when you can go to Wing Nuts on Main Street. Not the BEST wings in the city, but VERY VERY acceptable. Friday’s special: 30 wings for 16.99 Last time I was there I ate 18 wings. yeah, I’m the man.

If you do make them from scratch- let me know how they turn out.

If you want to know the 3 best places for wings in Vancouver (so far) let me know. They’re all on Broadway.

    whoa…

I ended up getting frozen. Truth is folks, i’m not really a big wings guy. They’re too much of a hassle to eat. But I think because of the blog some people thought they were real :) so maybe that’s good.

Dan, if you ever decide to REALLY make wings, let me know. I have a recipe for them that is krazy tasty.
p.s. I’m singing in one of those overly large Christmas trees you were talking about this weekend. “The Living Tree!” I’ll get someone to take a picture so you can feel my pain! -steph

Apparently you can buy trees at Ikea now.
